Description
When the Lamia reemerged in the new Millennium, it was clear that the clan had not wasted their time outside the watchful eye of the sects. Benjamin was the first to announce himself to the great Houses of every clan, presenting himself as the Speaker for the Medusa herself.
The Caesarea family came out one by one from the shadows... and then they kept coming. Today, Benjamin is the public face of a forgotten House of twenty fierce protectors, diplomats that are welcomed everywhere, and necromancers who know Death like no one else. Several cities were taken within months of joining the alliance.
Ben enjoys his role as eldest of his siblings, reveling in the freedom in his power.
The Green Carnations comprise his closest friends, elders from every sect. (The Carnations also invite all queer players looking for a supportive community to reach out to any one of us!)

- 1211: Hebdomon, now in Turkey Born outside Constantinople shortly after the Fourth Crusades devastated the city, Benjamin worked in the seaside palaces for the wealthy Venetians who vacationed there.
- 1232: Klokotnitsa Benjamin rides to join the army of Theodore Komnenos as he marches through Bulgaria to recapture Constantinople. Komenenos’ forces are obliterated. With a broken arm, Benjamin begins the long journey home.
- 1240: Istanbul, Turkey Broken physically but not in spirit, Benjamin is too pitiful to be taken seriously by any side of the war. In her journey to Erciyes, the Medusa sees an underestimated killer who can work in any army or palace and whose loyalty to her will be absolute. The Medusa Embraces Benjamin and they continue to the temple at Erciyes.
- 1241: Erciyes, Turkey Benjamin serves as a protector of the Cappadocian scholars alongside Lamia, the Medusa, and his broodmates, Aurelia, Jiajak, and Sevinch.
- 1341: Erciyes, Turkey Attacked by his sister Teuta on their first meeting. He wins. She comes back smarter and wins. They remain close through the ages.
- 1346: Erciyes, Turkey Feast of Folly. Benjamin and his family are chosen by Cappadocious to continue to serve the clan.
- 1440: Erciyes, Turkey The Betrayal – Lamia, the Medusa, Aurelia, Jiajak, Sevinch, and Teuta are lost, presumed dead at the hands of the Giovanni. Benjamin fails to save his eldest sister, Aurelia. He will spend the rest of his nights trying to measure up to her. Freya, the eldest, loses her life saving Ben.
- 1441-1500: Egypt Kudret smuggles Benjamin out of Turkey to Cairo, Egypt and the safety of Lazarus’ cult. Studies with Lazarus’ childer and Followers of Set.
- 1500: Venice Armed with necromantic skills and the Venetian he learned as a mortal, Benjamin is sent on his first visit to Venice by the Medusa, where he is a guest of the Putanesca family. Meets Luka Giovanni while he is still a ghoul, attempts to use him as a pawn against the Giovanni.
- 1500: Venice Driven by a desire to understand the soul as well as to nurture and protect, Benjamin joins the Tremere Nissim Melamed in aiding the displacement and pogroms against Jewish communities. Benjamin will continue that work as he follows wars across Europe, where there are no shortage of souls.
- 1785: Paris Spiritually exhausted, Benjamin searches for respite in Paris. Meets Claude and begins a romantic journey for decades. When revolution breaks out in Paris, Claude protects Ben from more psychic damage and moves them to London.
- 1789: London Spiritually exhausted, Benjamin arrives in London.
- 1860: London Forms the Green Carnation Club with Luka Giovanni, Christian Whitechapel, and Nissim Melamed.
- 1880: The Medusa recognizes the Kindred drama as an opening to look towards the family’s future. Benjamin begins to travel more widely and openly.

Benjamin helps Teuta Caesarea kill slavers and help families recover. - 1987: New York City Benjamin studies death in the AIDS ward where Dr. Marcel Trevisani is working. Benjamin is suspected of causing a few “miracles” when the recently-deceased wake up to say goodbye to their loved ones. Within a year, Marcel is dying in the same ward, Ben at his side.
- 1988: Kansas City Benjamin is sent to Kansas City by coterie-mate Christian Whitechapel to assist a neonate friend. Benjamin rediscovers Marcel Trevisani. Sparks fly, emotions run hih.
- 1995: Eilat, Israel Organizes a survey of northern Egypt with Daniel and Kishufa Caesarea, searching for remnants of the Lazarus cult
- 1999: Atlanta Rekindles his relationship with Luka Giovanni. The two become a fixture at Giovanni parties.
