• 1603
  • Born of the union of a French sugar plantation owner and a slave near Santo Domingo, Haiti.
• 1611
  • James begins work as a house servant.
• 1619
  • James sold to the town doctor
• 1625
  • James joins his first pirate crew. The crew, largely built of runaway and free slaves and a few French and Spanish sailors who opposed the idea of slavery took him in and he became the ship's doctor in addition to the usual pirating duties.
• 1625
  • James is fatally wounded in a raid on a Spanish trading vessel. He makes it to shore, where he is saved by, and embraced by Baron Samedi. Over the next year James learns how to use Obfuscate to disguise his appearance and he and his sire return to the pirate life.
• 1630
  • Jame's sire leaves. He becomes captain of his own ship and travels the Caribbean raiding Spanish, English, and French ships. Thus was the birth of the Cayo Island King Slayers
• 1650
  • Serves on a ship with Simon Davilabraga, Ancila Noiad. Simon comes and goes throughout the years.
• 1653
  • James sires his first child. Passing on his legacy to another slave. This goes terribly wrong as the newly embraced vampire immediately begins to embrace others.
• 1656
  • James kills his first child. He proceeds to attempt to track his now Grandchildren and right his child's wrongs the best he can.
• 1697
  • The French take over Haiti as the Spanish cede the Western part of the island. In the preceding conflicts the sugar plantation that James had been raised on was burned to the ground, along with his father.
• 1698-1789
  • James and his crew expand their operations throughout the Gulf of Mexico and down to the northern parts of South America. In this time they acquire two more ships to accommodate the growing crew. James is now on his third identity with the crew. His secret only known by a few ghouls who make up his crew.
• 1722
  • Thadeus O'Rourke, Samedi Ancilla joins the crew
• 1725
  • Begins Mentoring Gabriella di Espiare-Giovanni, a promising pirate from Europe with a lot to learn. She heads back after a decade of tutelage.
• 1789-1801
  • As the revolution begins James spends more time on the ground helping the fight. Many people died around him, many people died helping him. The guilt of these deaths weighed heavy on him and he drove himself to the edge of madness trying to make up for these deaths that he blamed on himself.
  • Serves on a ship with Teuta, a Lamia Elder. They had met earlier in 1680 briefly and had been at odds, but now, nearly a century later worked great as a team.
• 1801
  • Slavery banned in Haiti. James finally copes with some of his guilt, but decides he needs a new purpose beyond piracy. Seeing that the United States have just gone through a revolution of their own and are talking about abolishing slavery themselves, he moves his fight there.

• 1801-1865
  • James begins to adapt to a new battlefield, politics. He settles in New Orleans Louisiana, meeting others like himself and begins to work on swaying public opinion. Unfortunately he found himself in the South, so swaying opinions was difficult.
• 1865
  • U.S. Abolishes slavery. James finally starts to feel like the fight is making progress.
• 1865-1871
  • James focuses his attentions on vampire society for a while before deciding to travel. During this time all males with citizenship were legally allowed to vote. The focus shifted to gender equality.
• 1873
  • James settles on Harmony Island. He still frequently travels, but tries to influence politics where he can.
• 1889
  • Washington applies for statehood. The application includes giving women equal voting rights. Washington became a state, but the voting rights were denied.

• 1900
  • Helps arrange paperwork for Kamil Kalogeras, Capadocian.
• 1920
  • James opens his club on Harmony Island, The Third Circle. A whiskey bar with dedicated nights for Jazz, Blues, Poetry, and Comedy. Notably the club had no segregation.
  • Woman are granted the right to vote. Despite having equal rights, the world is anything but equal. Using his club as a platform James seeks to end segregation.
• 1928
  • As US Marines invade Haiti, James decides to head home for a bit.
  • While here he meets Gabriella, an Ancilla pirate from Europe that has moved to the Caribbean.
  • In an act of defiance James picks up the dangerous habit of feeding solely from Marines. He is frequently injured and accidentally killed at least one soldier in this time.
• 1934
  • James heads back to Harmony Island and his club. The club was feeling the pains of the Great Depression and barely managed to stay in business. James begins dealing with the mafia to keep the club afloat. They begin meeting there and using the club to launder money.
• 1939
  • As world war 2 begins the club becomes popular with soldiers seeking an escape from the base. The irony of this does not escape James at all.
• 1945
  • As the war ended James found new passion as the civil rights movement began to gain more steam
• 1954
  • Segregation is ended in the U.S.
• 1955
  • The Vietnam War begins. James protest against the war.
• 1962
  • The Third Circle is burned down in an act of arson. It is unknown if this was an act done by the Sabbat, or an act of racism.
  • James begins to travel more often given the loss of the club.
• 1969
  • As the Stonewall Riots begin James starts to fight for gay rights as his new crusade.
• 1985
  • James returns to Harmony Island.
• 1987
  • James reopens the Third Circle as a dance club inside of a refurbished church on Unity Island
• 1994
  • The Third Circle Casino and Buffet area opens up.

• 2002
  • The Third Circle Strip Club opens.
• 2018
  • James participates in the Samedi joining the IA
