The Moon
Izz Melamed is the eldest childer of Nissim and the first member of House Melamed. She is mysterious, aloof, duplicitous, and usually very annoyed about something.
Izz has spent the majority of her existence bloodying her hands in the name of her clan fighting their wars and destroying their enemies. Known to have formerly been an Astor prior to the splitting of the pyramid she leaves her wake an air of mystery and pain.
Timeline
1240 - Izz is born in Florence to minor nobility a title she would never take on.
1254 - Izz abandons her home and family for a thirst to gather more knowledge. Disguising herself as a man and making her way across the continent and the channel she enrolled in Oxford University.
1260 - Izz is exposed as a woman and ejected from University just a few months before completion of her Master of Arts with all degree's revoked. Through some luck she caught the notice of her sire, Nissim who takes her on as a ghoul and begins her apprenticeship.
1275 - Izz is embraced deep in the Carpathian mountains by Nissim, his first childe.
1280 - Izz leaves accounting and is immediately thrust into the Omen War as lieutenant over a squad of shock troops [Pending VIP]
1300s - Izz becomes the first member of House Melamed, created by Nissim, as a place where those who have been persecuted in the mortal world may learn and teach in peace. .
1476 - Being present at Ceoris for the attack by the now freed Gargoyles, Izz joins her fellow Tremere in defense of the clan against their former minions.
1496 - Izz is a ritualist in the blood curse in exchange for Clan Tremere becoming part of the Camarilla. [Pending VIP]
1520 - Izz attends the opening ceremony for Ceoris Prime Chantry in Vienna.(Pending VIP)
1521 - Achieved the position of Astor Izz spends the next 500 years rarely settling down in one place for longer than absolutely necessary.
1800 - After an inexplicable series of events, Izz embraces her one and only childe, Jerry.
2009 - Izz is one of the lead ritualists in the Ritual to Save the World. [pending VIP]
2010-2012 - The Second Inquisition. Izz lacking much in the way of a specific home largely goes unnoticed.
2011 - In the midst of the Inquisition The Beckoning happens. Izz immediately tracks down Jerry and has him shove a stake in her heart to be delivered to her sire, he does as she wishes for this is not the first time he has been asked to do such.
2012 - Izz is present at the destruction of the Prime Chantry. [pending VIP]
2015 - Izz leaves the Camarilla for the Independent Alliance following after a few members of her lineage as well as one of her more well known acquaintances. The circumstances surrounding why remain mysterious.
2018 - Izz attends the Toreador Grand Ball.
2021 - House Melamed formally allies with House Caesarea.

Founded by Nissim, the Lineage of House Melamed is a collection of powerful, thoughtful Tremere. After the clan split into three Houses in 2014, the lineage split as well, with members in all of the various new factions, still held together by a common ethos.
