Tsuki changes appearance with her mood, but most often than not when it's Veil Safe, she will be in Sambuhenge form, sporting three tails, one blonde, one red and one brown, with ears and hair of the same color than the red-haired tail.
Daugther : Hope "Paint-It-Black" Kurosawa
Paint-With-Joy, born Tsuki Kurosawa, is the illegetimate daugther of the legendary ninja Hattori Hanzo and an ona-bugeisha, Izumi Kurosawa who's prowess and courage on the battlefield earned her the deed name Brushes-With-Death despite being a kinfolk to the kitsune. Tsuki has been trained as a kunoichi to serve under her father but, while being decent at her job, never really reached a legendary level.
She lived her life trying to uphold the kitsune values the best she could, bringing joy and comfort to the people she met. As she always lived an happy-go-lucky life, she never really stayed a lot of time at the same place. Well relatively speaking as 10 years isn't a long time when you life can span centuries, moving out to other places and Sept where her upbeat personality was needed. As such, she never really amassed tons of knowledge nor did big deeds to raise over the rank of Adren.
Fast forwarding closer to the present, she met a Silent Strider near Osaka, quite beaten up. She brought him to her house and grew attached to him while taking care of him. Love and attraction always have been flickering thing for her, coming and going when she met people she liked, living pretty much a free love life since, after all, it's one way to bring joy to people, as efficient as another. But once every 80-100 years, she seems to feel a call to motherhood, which, given the kitsune curse, is always a risk.
The Strider kin also had feelings for the kitsune and the absence of bindings ties really fitted with the fact he would always be away, still coming around from time to time so he can see their child growing up. Of course, given the possibility the child being shifter, that meant he was risking his life a bit, but he would have lost it if it wasn't from Tsuki anyway. Turns out she gave birth to a kinfolk girl, Hope Kurosawa, so no one died in the process. She raised her daughter the best she could while keeping true to her ways and vision on the world.
When Hope was a late teenager, Tsuki as been approached by an American Glasswalker family because their daughter, Pixy, needed to come from Japan for studying and thought it would be preferable that she stays in a shifter family. She gladly accepted.
This arrangement sparked curiosity and when the Beast Courts allowed it, she was of the few Kitsune to volunteer to go to the Americas as ambassador. There, she moved quite a lot, not really binding to any Sept but offering her help where needed. Until Hope had a vision the days after The Night The Weaver Sang about a certain Sept. For some reason, fate said this was where they should be. So, they followed...
