Reginald Channing is a sterling example of a Victorian gentleman, writ onto the modern age. Polite and well mannered, he speaks with a mild upperclass British accent and tends to place himself on the edges of gatherings. He's usually found wearing a jacket, double breasted vest complete with watch chains, Oxford shirt and cuff links, bowtie in a Middle Eastern pattern, sharply pressed trousers, and perfectly shined wing tip shoes. His long, light brown hair is pulled back into a low ponytail. However, while he has a calm demeanor, he is not one to be trifled with (Gangrel/Coyote Merit: The Man in Black). Reginald isn't one to start a fight, but he won't stop fighting until every last target has been eliminated - or until Xan, his near constant companion, calls him off.
Reginald is also very clearly a woman.
- 1770 - Born in Constantinople to British Embassy Staff.
- 1805 - Impresses an Elder's Retainer with her brutally honest translation during a business negotiation with a pair of condescending British dandies; further impresses him when one of them tries to intimidate her that evening and she starts to beat the crap out of him with fists and parasol. She is offered and accepts the Embrace not long afterwards.
- 1824 - Participates in Matasuntha’s War.
- ~1830 - Moves to London.
- 1832 - While viewing the Elgin Marbles, she meets Xan Zidane and an unusual partnership is born. When Xan insists that he can't be seen living with an unmarried woman, she becomes Reginald Channing. In the modern nights to come, he sees no reason to change a habit of centuries.
- 1940 - Leaves London after the Blitz, relocating to Washington, DC.
- 1942 - Visits Edgar Rains in New Orleans.
- 1988 - Attends the Toreador Grand Ball in Montreal.
- 1998 - Remains a member of the Camarilla after the Gangrel lose their status as a Pillar Clan.
- 2012 - Joins the Anarchs after nearly every Camarilla Kindred of DC either disappeared in the Beckoning or left in the aftermath.
- 2013 - Reginald's gang, the Bon Vivants, participates in the creation of the new ruling Anarch structure in DC.
