Background: Born in 1963, the son of Ilya Garland deeded Falcon’s Grasp, Daughter of Cyrus the Bald in Yankton, South Dakota. Jasion never knew his father, though he’d heard rumors from family members that he was a Silver Fang kinfolk of some renown. From the time he could crawl, his mother began to groom him to become a king of the Silver Fang tribe. By the time he was 18, his first change had happened and within four years he’d become a Cliath then Fostern. In 1989 Ilya sent him on a pilgrimage to Korea, hoping he could help make ties with the Beast Courts. He stayed in the Far East for five years getting in numerous adventures. Rumors say at one point he was involved in the successful defense of the Sept of Garden’s Hope, a Star Gazer sept and that he had proven himself their friend, in their eyes anyway.
Upon returning home, he spent 6 years in various parts of the Midwest working for his Grand Father and Mother on various missions of the Silver Fang tribe, gaining the rank of Adren along the way. In the year 2000, he settled in Toledo, Ohio, making it his home for some time. The Sept uncovered an infiltrator who'd been relocating several kinfolks over the last year or so, and Howls at Daybreak learned that his friend had unwittingly assisted the BSD. But then, this friend tried to cover up his part rather than admit to error. Howls at Daybreak believed that the sept leadership needed to know the truth, even though it meant turning in his friend. Later in 2009 when Howls at Daybreak became an Athro, the Truth Catcher gave him the deed name Truth’s Burden due to his actions with his friend.
In 2011, his Grandfather, Cyrus-the-Bald was assassinated. At his mother's request, Jasion returned to Chicago and was a pallbearer at his grandfather's funeral. In 2019, Jasion went to the Sept of the Cresent Moon, at the invitation of Queen Sabine to discuss the proposed Gaian Alliance, and two groups there discussed proposals that were eventually voted on by the nation. Jasion was asked to present one of those proposals.
