Description
Alena is a quiet woman looking somewhere in her 20s, pale of hair and skin, with a light Russian accent.
She holds herself with proper social grace, politeness and poise. She often has a book in her hand, and is known to rarely venture out of her libraries unless the business of the Tower requires it.
She is perceptive to social queues however, and will gladly engage in conversation on a variety of subjects from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Those who have spent any amount of time with her will know it is easy to get her interest when something curious, arcane, or fascinating is to be shared.
Quotes
- "Yeah, she's all quiet and bookish and stays in her libraries ... but she's seen things, so never underestimate her." - Jerry Holiday
- "If I'm the type to test if the stove really is hot, she's the type that probably told me to try it." - Kenneth Bilge
- "Judge a kindred by the state of their library." - Zoltan Vancura
- "She asked me a question. It was the simplest of questions. Yet it has managed to haunt me. Maybe one night I will have the answer." - Asher Black
- "Alena pulled me back from what I can honestly say was the darkest period of my life. I can never repay her for that, and I am not simply saying that because she is my sire." Ava Melamed
- "Alena Sokoll has always been generous, prudent, and mindful of her priorities — what is the most important problem, what will serve the greatest interest. I ought to ask her to join a book club." - Yarrow Yoon
