Shaw has been a ghoul for the past 50 years of his life, tasked with finding his Domitor's favored ghoul and Shaw's longtime friend IO. Shaw had found IO in Anarch territory in the final days of 2022 but she had been forcibly embraced into the Malkavian clan by the Anarchs. Her unwavering commitment to the Camarilla led IO and Shaw to Pittsburgh after her rescue. The Anarchs destroyed Shaw's Domitor in retaliation of him releasing IO.
Shaw has struggled with the fact that he was doing his Domitor's bidding but that lead to her destruction because she had left herself exposed and a target. It was his job to do his masters bidding but also protect her, how will this event shape his thoughts of the future and his reactions to the wishes of his new Dominator ?
IO his long time friend is different now that she has been embraced, she remains his friend but there is now a large separation in social class between them. Will they remain friends now that she is a Kindred? Or will she begin to treat Shaw like every other ghoul and nothing more than a tool and property. Time will tell.
- He hates Anarchs for them killing his original Domitor.
- He is overly outspoken for a ghoul which will eventually get him into trouble, but somehow it has paid off for him... for now.
- He is learning that it's not all Anarchs that are bad, it's only some packs/coteries. There is possible redemption to some of them. He is still very cautious of Anarchs though, very cautious.
