Masika is a 5'2 bundle of joy, trying to keep her optimism up despite the curse on her Tribe and the effects it has on all of them.
Her fathers gave her the best education they could as well as a loving family life.
Her bloodline can be traced to "Eyes-of-Duat", a Silent Strider Kinfolk. Using his gifts of mediumship, he led a group of Striders to a vampire temple and, after they dispatched the thralls of these creatures, staked the vampires and dragged them out in the sunlight to watch them burn.
As far as she can remember, Masika has always been able to see and hear ghosts. She would tell her dads and they would usually take care of it; only this one Wraith, Amy, stuck by the little girl. The Wraith was friendly towards the child, seeing how she used her gifts of vision and mediumship to help the deceased cross over peacefully if possible; with her family's help. Reminding her of her own little sister from so long ago, Amy is protective of Masika and is only friendly to her.
She studied the history and mythology of Ancient Egypt as well as Theology and Parapsychology. It took many years of study, but she finally became a well known Egyptologist. Masika always kept her fathers in the loop when she was going on digs, to make sure they didn't worry.
- " My middle name is Ma'at, given to me by my fathers in the hope that I would uphold her principles of justice, virtue and balance; and it's something I try to do in my every day life." - Masika
