Listen, my son Tiny is the world's best son, alright? Of course he couldn't live without his mother. I mean, I thought my time was up. I had lung cancer, for Christ's sake. That was it, kaput! Lights out! But no, it turns out Tiny is a bleeding vampire! Ma, he says. Ma, I can't let you die. You're gonna have to trust me, alright?
Next thing I know, I look forty again! My skin hasn't looked this good in thirty years! Tiny said I'd have to go on a liquid diet, but I tried that in the 80's and it definitely wasn't for me. I mean, I guess I gotta drink blood sometimes, but I'm not giving up briskit.
Anyway, he got some of his little vampire friends to show me how to use my new magical powers - because, of course vampires have magical powers - but then he sent me to Houston "for my own safety." I guess he heard it's a very safe city on account of the Assembly they got going on there. Anyway, the Princess of the Independent Alliance there asked me to help her out, and now they keep calling me Harold. It's very strange. I just thought I was doing secretary work like when I volunteered with the Shriners, but it's nice to be useful, you know? Tiny is still back in Jersey, and even though he calls me every day like the good boy that he is, I don't have to do much to take care of him, so I try to take care of Princess Heather and the other nice vampires in the Assembly club.
