Butchie, as he prefers to be known, is a tall obvious male impersonator of some stature. With short hair, and a make-up goatee. He frequently wears brocade and leather, and mixes dark, or warm and bright glinting colors.

1860 Born in the Groningen province of the Netherlands as Annika to Bastian and Marike Vander Laan.
1878: Runs away to Amsterdam becomes a performer in the more shady districts of the city. All to avoid an arranged marriage to an older cruel man who has already lost three wives to questionable causes. Rumor suggests this is why he no longer publicly presents as anything other than male.
1914-1918: Participates in Sabbat/Camarilla conflicts hidden by World War I, half-heartedly.
1930s: Works with queer and racially marginalized communities in Harlem in NYC, associated with the Hamilton Lodge Balls.
1940s: Integrates into the post war time drag kings in Coney Island, dodging encroaching Anarchs and Camarilla.
1957: Participates in the Third Sabbat Civil War, defending the newly formed Panders. (Can't resist an underdog.)
1988: Attends the Sabbat hosted Toreador Ball in Montreal.
1969: In NYC for the stonewall riots (VIP Pending), spent time performing, MCing shows and physically protecting protestors, using allies to get protestors out of jail, etc.
1972: Goes on a motorcycle road trip with her Gang, the Dupont Kings, and Maypop Sickle to California.
2008: Moves to Washington, D.C when the lineage joins the Camarilla. and opens a drag club in Dupont Circle. Protects LGBTQ+ kindred and humans, gives them a safe place and works to encourage mortals to change laws, etc.
2009: Participates in "The Ritual to Save the World", defending the ritual participates from interruption (VIP Pending).
2011: Never particularly devoted to either the Sabbat or the Camarilla (outside survival needs) when the Tower falls in Washington, D.C. he decides and Anarchs, with their ability to mingle with the kine and support of personal freedoms are the home he's always needed.
2018: Escorts Maypop Sickle at the Toreador Grand Ball in Reims, France.
Butchie is the The public performing Drag King persona of an Ancilla Toreador. A comedian and lip sync performing male impersonator, Butchie harkens back to the stone butch days before the Stonewall Riots. He's loves the freedom of the Anarch Movement, and is a protector.
Butchie arrived as a performance artist in the DC area in the late 2000s, with most of his fellow performing Kings' group it was time to move on lest he raise questions. His new persona and style is different than it was in the 70s-90s, and has more modern touches.
