- 1844 – Michael De Luca was born. His father was a gravedigger for St. Patrick’s proto-cathedral at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Newark, NJ.
- 1859 – Michael begins to create his own grave markers in stone and marble as if guided by the voices from beyond.
- 1868 – Michael’s work carving cemetery angels draws the attention of Mina_Burana for his skill and artistry.
- 1874 – After a few years of patronage and artwork, Michael becomes a ghoul in service to Mina.
