A calm, usually soft-spoken woman in well made but plain clothing, the vampire who recently reintroduced herself as Beatrix is easy to overlook in a room - until she opens her mouth, at which point her keen mind and sharp tongue can be hard to forget. She may not deem most things around her worthy of her comment, but if she is moved to speak, it is always to a purpose. And at this point, it’s almost 1,300 years of focused purpose.<br><br>

For most of her time, Beatrix has gone by different names, pursuing alternate identities in different clans and sects, for the sake of preserving her lineage’s lives and work. Her approach to defending her lineage is one of a scholar first, as is unsurprising of a True Brujah: she identified the need to learn and practice martial skills, and did so with the same calm devotion with which she learned any other skill. She does not consider herself a warrior, but she has made it her business to be a decisive presence in a fight.<br><br>
