Raphael LeGrande was born and raised in Paris during the 11th century and embraced by one Marcel de la Serre. He and his sire traveled to England to avoid the conflicts of the French Revolution and the potential exposure to themselves that swayed in the midst of the conflict. Raphael, prior to his embrace, was married and had a child, though their names and faces are lost to the fires of the Revolution and he prefers not to speak on what happened to them, though he notably does have blood relation to the Ministry Necromancer Deo Aker, claiming him to be his great great great grandson. Raphael is a generally helpful and caring man, claiming that 'in his 800 years he has learned that all things are beautiful in their own right, that the ephemeral nature of all things other than Kindred is something to be admired.' He is regarded as a Master Craftsman and artist, though he will never compete as he prefers to create ephemeral works, a 'compilation of beauty that is there in one instant and gone in the next.'
