Born and raised and embraced in St. Petersburg Nikolai serves as Prince there. He spends most of his time on Vasilievsky Island, the port of call for St. Petersburg. Nikolai was the son of a noble and was going about the business of being young and decadent when dispatched by family to St. Petersburg to oversee family interests. Here he fell in love with his eventual sire Anya.
The two remained constant figures in St. Petersburg for centuries. He refused to leave during the Revolution and his sire was killed by Brujah as a result. He was installed as a puppet Prince out of spite.
In 1990 with the assistance of clan Nosferatu Nikolai had his revenge, and Brujah were purged from St. Petersburg at his decree. By 2000 he had risen to the rank of Director.
After the shift in paradigm of the clan back to its Feudal roots, he has been the vocal face for the council of Dukes, ensuring order is maintained in the clan amongst rumors of the worst happening to his peers.
