*-1653 After being released from his period of Accounting, Lord Rutger Van Voorhees joins the Assembly of Generals.
*-1653 – 1730 Causes constant problems for the Sabbat in the predominantly Lasombra supported, Spanish crown islands of Hispaniola, Curacao, Hati and many other regions during the Franco-Dutch War.
*-1730 – 1787 Raids the coasts of Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily as well as trade ships along the northern coast of Africa. This not only disturbs Lasombra shipping and trade, but also raises the ire of the Giovanni, as many expensive trade shipments and payments ships go missing.
*-1788 While raiding Brujah holdings on the north African coast, Rutgers actions result in a duel between himself and Brujah Ancilla Alexander Bartholomew Tate. Tate is destroyed as a result.
*-1789 In wake of the French Revolution, Lord Voorhees uses his wealth and influence as well as a personal fleet of ships to ferry Elders and those Ancilla who could prove worth the risk safely to the New World.
*-1800 – 1900 Spends time between Tangiers, Morocco, Tunisia, Kashmere, India, Syria, Iran, and Turkey protecting and encouraging Ventrue and Camarilla interests while combatting Sabbat and Anarch uprisings.
*-1905 Arrives in the Port of New Orleans and traverses the country to meet his Sire at her recently established city of Great Falls, Montana only to find that the city has been overrun by Anarchs. At this time an altercation involving an insult to the Lady Diana ensues, perpetrated by “Big Ron” Turnbull, a Brujah leader and rabble rouser. Prince Diana quashes the occurrence, but Lord Voorhees swears vengeance. Soon after Rutger departs on a mission to Argentina.
*-1910 – 1999 Lord Van Voorhees keeps a near constant home in Mumbai, Maharashtra, while also establishing a small haven in Istanbul, Turkey. He continues his standard service to Clan Ventrue and House Solomon.
*-2000 – Returns to Great Falls, Montana to aid his Sire in crushing the Sabbat uprising. Rutger returns to Mumbai shortly afterward to finish attending to some House Solomon business.
*-2005 – 2021 Lives secretly and undisturbed outside of New Orleans, watching the local Kindred population to assess where to begin laying his next foothold on power. Before his move to Baton Rouge, Rutger tracks down and destroys “Big Ron” Turnbull, keeping his fangs as a souvenir.
Rumors
* - Lord Voorhees is referred to by Neonates, and even some Ancilla as “Lord Slasher” or simply “Slasher” due to the association with pop-culture and his last name. It is not known if anyone has ever said it to his face.
- Rutger is part of an ancient bloodline of Sea Lords and Kings, older than the Etruscan peoples, within the Ventrue Clan.
- Rutger is actually not a Ventrue, he is a hardline Gangrel, that answers only to the Ventrue Council, and the Imperator.
- Rutger is an unmarked agent of the Alastors.
- Lord Voorhees has destroyed no less than twenty kindred in contested combat, at least eight were Brujah.
