Lillian Mason is a Toreador ancilla and poet, appearing in her mid-20s. Standing at 5'8", Lillian can be found gracing Elysium in sumptuous fashions, or dressed down in open-mic nights in collegiate neighborhoods.
- 1894: Born–growing up, was denied food when times were tight in favor of her older brother.
- 1909: Ran away at age 15 to avoid getting married off. Self-taught at reading and writing through her local libraries, she was subsequently swept up in the Suffrage and early 20th century Free Love movement as a young adult, becoming a writer of essays and poetry in their pamphlets.
- 1918: Met her sire, a pianist, who became obsessed with her literary work.
- 1919: Embraced while participating in a desperate hunger strike. The Embrace makes her appear unsettling. Sire abandons her and escapes to France.
- 20s-40s: Turns to the Camarilla and appeals to the Prince, who takes her on as her own childe.
- 1949: The Prince sends her to France to punish her sire for breaking the traditions of Progeny and Accounting. Meets Yarrow Yoon, who orients her to the city, and crosses paths with Noa Rosenbaum. Lillian becomes good friends with both.
- 1987: The Prince disappears mysteriously. Lillian travels up the Ohio river to Pittsburgh and forms a coterie called "The Girls," becoming more streetwise in the process.
- October 2023: Pittsburgh coterie is destroyed. Lillian decides to capitalize on connections in Boston and travel once again to start over.
Lillian grew up working class in Cincinnati, OH and narrowly escaped young marriage to write activist literature for the Suffrage and Free Love movements, only to be Embraced by a manipulative musician who abandoned her when her appearance changed afterward. Lillian has spent the last century moving between cities, making various maneuvers in order to establish her safety--and the safety of those to whom she is loyal. Lillian is fierce, sociable, eminently curious, and loves a good time.
