Fair haired and grey eyes, Avery would look normal, if not for a slight metallic sheen to his skin. Typically well dressed, though with a significant bias towards British construction, and more formal clothing, Avery seems.

Avery was born curious. With a bit of luck, and a relatively well off family, Avery was able to receive and education, and ultimately make a living for himself as an alchemist. Patronized by the wealthy to create more than just balms and tinctures, Avery eventually caught the interest of his sire, who decided that Avery's mind might well be suited to the mysteries of thaumaturgy. He was correct.
Avery has studied many aspects of Kindred existence in his 500 years, but has still not forgotten his roots in alchemy, having continued his studies even as it started to morph into modern chemistry. Not just a student, Avery will gleefully take the time to teach young Kindred, sometimes without their sire's input, simply because he wants to encourage his curiosity.
In modern nights, Avery continues his searches, though tempered by the need to manage the threats to Kindred at large, since the Tower is no longer an impenetrable fortress protecting his research.
