Physically built like a powerlifter, Joshua is a young Caitiff, but he has earned his stripes in the Movement, even if he still gets caught up in tough guy posturing. As a mortal his willingness to put his life and body on the line to thwart injustice against the powerless drew the attention of his sire, then known as the Toreador Speedy -- now known as the Salubri Mace.
Often mistaken for a Brujah, Joshua is outspoken and uncompromising when he sees a wrong that needs to be made right. He was embraced into stories of wicked Tremere elders in high towers who orchestrate movements in the shadows that make the world a worse place, and he is very suspicious of the connected, the rich, smooth-talkers, and authority. He advocates rule of law and being able to shake hands with your government. He is greatly irritated by hypocrisy, necromancy, Obtenebration, autocracy, and oath-breakers. In his better moments he comes across as sincere and inspiring; in his worse moments, he comes across as naive and holier-than-thou.
His chief virtues are courage and justice; his chief vices are wrath and pride.
