Seen by many as a proud monster, that is who Deaglán Síl Aedha Eaniagh in many ways is. Having walked this earth since the mid 3rd Century, he has walked from faith, into fire, and back into faith again.
A powerful member of Clan Lasombra, Deaglán has kept many parts about him secret, preferring to act as an enigma when possible. Having set up his base of operations within San Diego he will not give up what he has built.

- 279 a.d. - After a decade of training, he was released from Malaii, and allowed to act on his own. Returning home to Ireland he begins to direct his clan.

- 537 a.d. - Releases Eithne to help guide his human clan in his absence while he returns to the Iberian Peninsula at the request of his sire, Malaii.
- 538 a.d. - Brought to the castle of Shadows, Deaglán is instructed in the arts of Abyss Mysticism and begins following the Road of the Abyss.
- 569 a.d. - Returns to Ireland, changed by his Road, he resumes leadership, but now with less a focus on leading the people, and more a focus on the divine sacrament of sacrifice.
- 582 a.d. - Eithne manages to convince him to focus on his study of the Abyss and leave leadership to her, he takes advantage of this chance to study,he then withdraws for the next several centuries.
- 1346 a.d. - Learning of the works taken by some involving faith, Deaglán is seen openly deriding such actions as the pastime of fools who cannot see the truth of reality.
- 1390 a.d - Karel is embraced after Deaglán listens to him teaching about mathematics and the concept of Zero resonates with the concept of the abyss.
- 1391 a.d. - With the start of the Anarch Revolt, Deaglán is attacked, but manages to escape thanks to his mastery of the Abyss - fleeing to the Crown of Aragon, he also returns to the Road of Humanity.
- 1392 a.d. - Having sent for Eithne to join him, he receives word that after the assault on his haven she has not been seen or heard from and is assumed dead.
- 1405 a.d. - The Castle of Shadows is attacked. Though he does fight back some of the attackers, the overwhelming numbers force him to withdraw.
- 1493 a.d. - Attending the Convention of Thorns, he does not walk out with his clan. His childe Karel reveals his true nature during the sacking of Silchester. Deaglán for his part does not ever speak of sparing his childe when it is found out which side he joined.
- 1542 a.d. - Realizing that with expansion to the new world being where the Sabbat are fleeing, and with a desire to deny them any resources he can, Deaglán sets sail under Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo to build a power base there settling down in San Miguel (what would become San Diego).
- 1543 a.d. - Begins helping establish missionaries throughout Latin America in the interest both of spreading faith, but also spreading his own power.
- 1593 a.d. - Returns to Ireland to assist in Tyrone's Rebellion, his Clan, their seat of power being the base of the rebellion, he would not let them fall under English Rule. He slipped in as an advisory role to the war and began to assist how he could quietly and secretly.
- 1603 a.d. - With the signing of the Treaty of Mellifont, Deaglán withdraws again, devastated by this defeat of his people, and the loss of this culture he vows to account for all those of his blood that still remain.

- 2013 a.d. - With the falling apart of the Camarilla in San Diego, Deaglán pivots to working with the Independent Alliance as they take over the city.
On the night of Ma’s official take over, he and his line work to secure several territories in San Diego:
- Point Loma
- Imperial Beach
- Coronado Island
- Pacific Beach
- Star of India
- Ports of San Diego
- 2015 a.d. - Already in a good working relationship with the Alliance, Deaglán begins to push for more official talks about joining the Alliance among his clan as a whole.
- 2016 a.d. - Working with his clan to gain entry into the Independent Alliance, Deaglán is one of the first to join with the amendment of the treaty being present for the amending itself.
- 2018 a.d. - Deaglán attends the Toreador Grand Ball
A proud Irishman, and even prouder Lasombra. Deaglán never followed his clan down what he perceived as a path of destruction that would only lead to their ruin in the Sabbat. Instead he held true to the ideals of the High Clan they once were and has sought every night to rebuild that power and glory that they once had.
- He agreed to appear in a Harlem Shake Music Video at the request of a neonate of his line, but only if she could successfully convince every other member of his lineage.
- He always was in league with the Sabbat before this, and his talk of hating the Sabbat was a ruse, now that the Sabbat is actually gone he's stuck floundering and lost.
- He's losing his touch with the modern world and is trying to get things ready so he can go into torpor until the Beckoning passes over.
- He lost his soul to the Abyss, he seems to think that the Abyss is a manifestation of the power of God
- He is absolutely ruthless and more than happy to sacrifice anyone to achieve his end goals.
- He loves the tones in vantablack, though has not yet seen Diemut Streibe's Redemption of Vanity.
- When calling upon the powers of the Abyss:
- "In luce tua videmus lucem."
- "It is through this pure uncreated light that is not God, but before God, that we might see God."
- "The loss of faith is what damns the kindred soul, we are so tempted in our eternal lives to think of ourselves as gods, that we lose sight of God and in doing so damn our souls to the endless suffering that is Nihilism."
- "A trusted ally; trusted to do what he needs to do for his family, as I do mine." - Ma Pisanob
- "When I arrived in San Diego, still reeling from what I had become, his was a calming voice to quiet the chaos in my heart. While we are not related in any way in the vampiric sense; our shared heritage makes him something akin to family." - Aoife Kennedy
- "Deaglán speaks my language, in more ways than one. He's always welcome to call me for backup... or other things~" - Fiadh
- "He makes me want to be the best Abyss Mystic out there, if only because his disappointed face is more terrifying than anything else." Stephen Cox
- "This guy is why elders terrify me. Everyone acts like he shits gold or somethin'." - Mutt
