Hi there! We go by many names, but you may call us Rachel. We are a 34-alter, polyfragmented [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissociative_identity_disorder DID] system. Our brain responded to repeated childhood trauma by compartmentalizing itself into different identity states known as "alters". There's quite a lot more to it than that, but suffice to say that as an adult and with therapy, we've been able to more or less work together most of the time under the strong leadership of several important alters you will probably come to know: Courtney, Jaedyn and Amber.
