Obvs Cliff is quite distinctly a totally awesome member of the Gargoyle Clan, but otherwise, Cliff does not remember who Cliff is, which is a real bummer. Cliff was found in Leavenworth, Kansas by his compadres in the Anarch Movement. Cliff's wings were broken too, just like Cliff's memories. Even with all this heinous damage, Cliff tries to be upbeat, positive, and a productive member of the Anarch Movement. Anarchs Rock! [Insert guitar solo].
- 2005: The Gargoyle is found by Craig, wandering with no memory. Craig renames the Gargoyle "Cliff" and helps get him re-established, and into the Movement.
- 2011-2021: Cliff spends the decade with traveling with his gang and becoming more familiar with what it means to be an Anarch and Gargoyle.
An event in the early 2000s left the Gargoyle once again without any memory, and a grievous injury to his wings. The amnesiac Gargoyle is eventually found by the Nosferatu Craig. Craig renamed the Gargoyle "Cliff" and helped get him re-established, and into the Anarch Movement. The Anarch Gang, Mystery Inc., is formed with Jameson, Craig, Shelby Atwood, and Cliff.
Now, Cliff is a free-spirited Anarch totally living each day as if it were completely new, with no memory of his boring previous self nor the most heinous tortures that the Tremere inflicted upon him or his kind. It's, like, rather liberating, really.
Whether his past catches up to him is hard to say, but Cliff will totally deal with that tomorrow. For now, it's time to party on!
