There he runs into Giacomo Rossellini (portrayed by Terry James US2008052329) once again. The ship is there to drop off some goods and pick up a shipment of bonds of note to be transported back to England. As he is in Giacomo’s metaphorical house, Rainard is well behaved but somewhat snide. On the way back to England, the bonds were stolen at sea by the dread pirate Gabriella Giovanni de Espiare (as portrayed by Stephanie Thorndyke US2017010039). Rainard suspects that Giacomo double crossed him.

- 2010 CE - Rise of the Second Inquisition
- 2011 CE - The Beckoning
- 2013 CE - Conclave Event (Halifax, Nova Scotia) - Campaigns vigorously on the behalf of the Noaid, arguing that their inclusion represents a needed element of diversity in the Tower. He invites several of them into his pagan alliance.
He holds a reputation for upholding the rule of law and the structure of society. As such he took the Anarch Rebellion as a personal affront at the time. He enjoys his place as a high clan member and even in modern nights has some of the medieval noblesse oblige towards the Low Clans. However, in recent nights he understands that the universe has changed. The Tower is no longer monolithic and instead he has focused on the clan and society as a whole. Specifically being a surrogate sire/elder for now orphaned Ventrue.
He was at the Convention of Thorns but as outside security. Known as “The Butcher of Thorns” as he has been slowly hunting down and murdering all of the anarchs and proto-sabbat that sacked Silchester after the convention.
Known as the Scarlet Hand because of what he does after executions. He will dip his right hand in their blood and place a bloody hand print over the left side of his face. He will not remove it, preferring to let it dry and flake off as a warning to others to not cross him or his clan.
Semi-secretly, he is pagan and views himself as a follower of Tyr. He leads those of his lineage and those that join his association in a worship.
When he acts in his official role for clan Ventrue he carries a special war axe that he has had for centuries. It has never been cleaned and is stained brown with the vitae of his enemies. However, it is increasingly rare that he does so anymore.
Has mellowed slightly in recent centuries. He is normally well mannered and even respectful and warns those that would use him. Most of his nights revolve around playing board games with those ancillae and neonates, gauging them. Often times he sits back and lets those of his line and others do what needs to be done. But when one of “his” threatened, the sunning lion comes down off his rock.
Currently a member of the Camarilla but will work with all but the Sabbat (if they ever return) and those actively involved in the sacking of Silchester.
