Alexander appears in his late 30's to early 40's. He is obviously on a Path, and has been for as long as he's been known in Kindred society.

- 1818: Alexander begins studying medicine, hoping to unlock the secrets of prolonging human life; and eventually ending death by natural causes.
- 1838: Alexander becomes a ghoul to his eventual sire.

- Early 1900s: Alexander creates the alternate identity of "Merritt", a Cappadocian.
- 1939: Under the "Merritt" identity, Alexander meets Ava Melamed in Austria.
- 1943: Under the "Merritt" identity, Alexander meets Lily Blackwood in Poland.
- 5/29/2023: Under the "Merritt" identity, relocates to Atlanta, GA, at the request of Kamil Kalogeras.
- 8/26/2023: Under the "Merritt" identity, travels to Malta to assist in the destruction of Aisling Sturbridge. Afterwards he reveals his true identity and clan, in a meeting with the real Baron Samedi and other present members of the various clans of death.

The squalid streets of London, a breeding ground for despair, became the crucible from which his path would unfold—a path fraught with harrowing trials and unspeakable horrors.
Raised amidst the unforgiving backdrop of London's wretched slums, Alexander's life was molded by the cruel realities of poverty and suffering. Craving knowledge and an escape from the squalor that surrounded him, he ventured down the treacherous path of medicine, seeking solace within the hallowed halls of esteemed medical institutions. It was there, in the depths of academia, that he found refuge, immersing himself in the intricacies of the human body, captivated by the delicate balance between life and death, and determined to find the key to immortality.
In 1838, a shrouded figure, veiled in the chilling guise of REDACTED REDACTED, crossed paths with Alexander. This nightmarish presence was REDACTED REDACTED, a Nagaraja with a thirst for knowledge and power. Drawn by Alexander's insatiable curiosity and untapped potential, it ghouled him, initiating him into the dark arts that awaited.
For twelve harrowing years, Alexander was bound by blood to it as its devoted accomplice, entangled in its dark world of blood and shadows. Under its guise of REDACTED REDACTED, they prowled the moonlit streets of London, their actions leaving a haunting trail of twisted corpses. Each passing night gnawed away at his humanity, the tendrils of darkness threatening to engulf his very essence.

Alexander's mortal shell died and he was reborn as its progeny, a Nagaraja—forever bound to the realms of death and the necromantic arts. But as time moved on and REDACTED REDACTED failed to reinforce its hold on him by blood, his eyes were opened to the monster he had been forced to serve and a spark of fear took root within his heart—a fear of becoming the monster that REDACTED REDACTED exemplified.
Haunted by the unspeakable horrors he had borne witness to and tormented by the fear of becoming the very monster that had begotten him, he delved deep into the forbidden arts of necromancy. Through his relentless pursuit of knowledge and understanding, he ventured into the shadowy recesses of the enigmatic Shadowlands, where the lost spirits whispered tales of sorrow and despair to him. Yet, within these realms of death, he also found power and those who could instruct him in its use.
