Angel Rey
Born within the kingdoms of Hispania, Angel came from a family of wealthy landowners - minor nobility in the land. As the battles between Christian and Muslim faiths raged around the countryside, Angel's life was being manipulated by shadowy figures. His life was torn down, all to test his mettle, as is the Lasombra way. He made it through the tests, and was embraced in 1400.

His Sire did not understand the ambition within Angel, however. After destroying his sire, Angel went to join his Clan in the assault on the Castle of Shadows. Fully Embracing the Sabbat dogma, he enjoined and eventually became Archbishop of Cancún. He fought in the Southwest Crusades, departing before the aligned forces could destroy him.

Shortly after, he migrated away from the Sabbat, enjoining the Independent Alliance with his Clan. Now, he looks for power and prestige in any number of avenues...

Former "Bad" Guy: Angel was a member of the Sabbat, from its inception. He briefly was among the regular caste, while in the Accounting. He found it to be chafing, to say the least. He eventually travelled to the New World, and claimed Cancún for the Sword of Caine.
Lasombra: He is one of the Clan of Kings - Noblesse Oblige. He fought in the assault on the Castle of Shadows. He does have high aspirations to one evening, be a member of the Les Amis Noirs. He tends to look out for his Clanmates, in seeing that they reach the aspirations they seek.
Southwest Crusade: From 2000 through 2010, Angel fought in the Southwest Crusade, on the side of the Sabbat. He fought alongside his Diocese and packmates on the field of battle, bringing his might to bear against the Anarchs and Camarilla. Before he suffered a personal loss, he withdrew with his troops.

If you have to tell people you are,
you aren't.
