Further Information
Skylar van Rensselaer is a man in his prime with mid-length wavy blond hair and golden-brown eyes. A perpetual smile curves the corners of his mouth as if he's constantly in the know, or just pleased by whatever happens to be going on around him and strangely, it even reaches his eyes. His drawling accent came out of the southern portion of the United States, likely Virginia for anyone with an ear for placing such things.
- 1827 - The man who will later be known as Skylar van Rensselaer is born.
- 1861 - Skylar is pressed into service in the American Civil War.
- 1862 - Skylar is killed as part of a mass embrace by a Sabbat pack.
- 1864 - Skylar is released after turning himself in to Camarilla authorities north of the Mason-Dixon. He does not join the Camarilla at the end but wanders off instead to live quietly among the Unaligned.
- 2011 - Petitions to join the Anarch Movement after the Beckoning and 2nd Inquisition devastate society. Begins establishing his bonafides.
- 2015 - Moves to Madison, WI.
- 2016 - Joins the Independent Alliance when the treaty is revised to accept clan Lasombra, without having ever been fully accepted by the Movement.
A southern man with an easy demeanor that is belied by eyes that hungrily take in the details of everything he encounters, Skylar van Rensselaer appeared in modern society as the aftershocks of the Beckoning and the opening stages of the 2nd Inquisition. His explanations as to who he is and where he came from satisfied the various Authorities he encountered and he sought to find himself a place in society.
In 2016, things settled for him as he joined the Independent Alliance with many other members of his clan, selling services as a cat burglar and thief who could get into and out of nearly any setting with ease.
