Her encroaching madness attracted the attention of a Malkavian in the service of Seren, the baroness of Gloucester. He offered her the possibility of an unlife without gender restrictions and she eagerly accepted.

When Seren became more erratic due to Mithras' continued absences, Juliet left Gloucester for London and quickly inserted herself into the National Society for Women's Suffrage. This attracted the attention of Queen Anne Bowesley, who shared many of her views and the two became strong allies. It was also Bowesley who appointed Juliet as Sheriff of [[.
