A French tinkerer who was on the verge of starvation among the thronging immigrants on the lower East Side at the turn of the century, Gerard Rafin was instead Embraced and thoroughly Americanized by the Nosferatu of New York.
Rafin grew obsessed with two things, technology and the legends of the Nosferatu clan. The founder of the modern SchreckNET he was known to hit the road a few months of the year with a sack full of network boards and wires fixing and upgrading NetNodes in the United States. His modernization of a sect that was largely behind the times had turned him into a legend.
Until FIRSTLIGHT cracked his code. He was forced to shut down SchreckNet following the rise of the Second Inquisition. And while no one blames him more than himself it was he who demanded the Wipe take place.
Everyone knows him, everyone leaves him alone. His slightly shrunken head makes his enormous ears stand out even more and the warts on his face outnumber the hairs on his head three to one. He’s usually dressed in a mud splattered beige trench coat
