Born in the Deep South in the 1735 from parents that were indentured and brought over as part of the colonization of the New World. He grew up with a fascination with dead things. As a child he would find animals dead and the n cut them and look around. He would take their Hands or feet and put them as a mount for a walking stick and walk around with it. It was during the Revolutionary War in 1775 around the battle of Augusta, he worked as a Doctor with the Wounded and took great pleasure as he would amputate one person and stitch it back onto another. He was found scavenging the dead for body parts. He went to Medical school and was almost Kicked out for re-stitching the Cadavers with other parts. He began to develop a knack for reattaching a cadaver arm on an amputee and making it work Then one Dark Night on the Evening of December 13th 1775, he had the misfortune of opening one coffin too many and was embraced. He had been stalked for months before and the coffin laid open as a trap for the rat. His new Friend taught him many new tricks to play with the dead. Through This time he Learned but kept with the battles during the night Mending the wounded while feasting on the near dead. He learned all he could as he grew in stature he began to understand the dead. During the Civil war in the late 1800's be was making advancements in medicine. People wondered as he developed his technology of medical wonders that seemed to get overlooked.
