Igor Balakin was the Camarilla Harpy for more than a century under the Princes Archibald Crane and Nikolas Preston-Clark. For many local kindred, he was the only Harpy they had ever known.
Over the years, Igor was a controversial figure with a well-known talent for digging up dirt on his fellow kindred. Some attribute this habit to his being one of the Nosferatu clan.
In early April 2013, Igor disappeared without a trace. This was particularly concerning as Igor was known to be the last sanctioned boonkeeper in the Metro area. While conducting a search for Igor, a group of kindred encountered would-be Hunters in the 8th Street Tunnel.
After being missing for nearly 5 years, the former Harpy reappeared and send out invitations to a meeting, promising to answer any questions anyone might have. That meeting was interrupted by hunters, whose goal appeared to be capturing Igor.
