Emanuel came to the phoenix area in the 1920’s shortly after joining the Camarilla. He is not open about his life before the 20’s, but it is speculated that he was a member of the Sabbat. He was a member in good standing until 1975. He had a disagreement with the Prince at the time, Rebecca Price and Elder of Clan Ventrue, and decided to leave the Camarilla to assist others in the area with their attempts at succeeding in their personal pursuits. He had many conflicts with Rebecca Price through out the years and in 1984 Rebecca mysteriously vanished and Emanuel vanished for quite some time. The rumors were that he killed her and diablerized her and went into hiding to cover his crimes.
Emanuel was not seen in the open in the Phoenix area, though many said that he was still in the area and meeting with Giovanni and Unaligned Kindred in secret, until 2016. He set up a safe place in the area by cashing in a lot of boons to gain security and protection in the area until he was able to seize control of the City on July 21, 2018. For every member of the Independent Alliance he set up choice areas for feeding and control. On July 21, 2019, the first celebration of Freedom Nights the few Anarchs and Camarilla still in the Area negotiated the ability to live and feed in the area. The Anarchs were allowed to live and feed in Buckeye while the Camarilla were allowed to live and feed in Maricopa city. It was made clear that these factions do not own these locations, but they will be allowed to continue to exist there as long as they follow the laws set down by the Prince.
