Solomon Reynolds was born and raised in the middle of Appalachian coal country, Red jacket, West Virginia in Mingo County. His father was a coal miner and his mother stayed home to take care of him, his older brothers Absalom and Mitchell, and their eight other brother's and sisters.
Solomon, Mitchell, and Absalom from a young age knew they did not want to be trapped in the mines all their life, so they set themselves to one of the other opportunities afforded to them. Moonshining. Mitchell built stills and ran a shining business from the time he was 13 until he, the second oldest brother Abraham, and the eldest brother Absalom joined the army to fight overseas in World War I. Solomon took it from there until the three Eldest returned. Where they built it even further than they could have dreamed.
After Blair Mountain, The trio continued the fight for miners' and workers rights until 1924, when the three were embraced. No info about why or how they were chosen or even why they accepted is known, but from there on out, they went about their tasks. Solomon, remaining the ever stalwart enforcer for his brothers, found himself a way through the new world they had entered. Which caused a divide between the two and him. The trio split, and Solomon and his brothers went about their own businesses.
Present day: Sol has offered several services to the kindred of Pittsburgh, mostly through rituals he has picked up as he's gone. He is hopeful this will be a lucrative arrangement continuing into the future.
