Name pronunciation: Dehs-bah-neh-sehr

Dresses in a denim jacket, jeans, and boots. Can almost always be found with either a cigarette in his mouth, or with a bandanna covering it when he fights.

Timeline

• 1937 - Desvanecer is born in El Paso, Texas.
• 1957 - Desvanecer joins a Sabbat affiliated gang
• 1962 - Desvanecer is embraced, but the blood doesn’t take.
  • Desvanecer is abandoned by his sire, but is taken in by the Panders of El Paso.
• Year 1999 - A new Archbishop of El Paso is seated, and escalates attacks against the Anarch Baronies of El Paso.
• Year 2000 - Desvanecer kills an Anarch Baron of El Paso during a skirmish.
  • The Archbishop offers him the position of Paladin for his feat.
  • Desvanecer declines the position.
• March 2012 - The Archbishop prepares the El Paso Sabbat to fight in the impending Gehenna Crusade.
  • Desvanecer speaks out against it, outraged they were abandoning all the territory and resources they fought and died for.
• April 10th 2012 - The Archbishop of El Paso escalates, and a Wild Hunt is called against Desvanecer.
• April 17th, 2012 - The Anarchs of El Paso launch new attacks against The Sabbat.
• June 20th, 2012 - Desvanecer diablorizes the Archbishop.
  • The factions are decimated in El Paso, leaving only independent kindred.
  • Kindred of the region begin to call him, “ El Cucuí de El Paso”.
• February, 2013 - The Sabbat have left the Americas.
  • Desvanecer has not been since.
• March 19, 2019 - An ambitious Toreador and coterie declares praxis in El Paso, attempting to set a Camarilla presence. Many Kindred accept the Camarilla’s claim.
• October, 31st 2019 - The Camarilla of El Paso host a party in their declared Elysium.
  • Desvanecer appears at the party and kills the new prince and his court.
  • The event becomes known as the “Halloween Massacre”. Many Kindred leave El Paso out of fear of El Cucuí.
• May, 10th 2024 - Desvanecer moves to Boston, with the promise of a boon from the Independent Alliance.

Bio

A Pander from the streets of El Paso, Desvanecer has a rebellious streak that could give a Brujah a run for their money. He's a monster in a fight, and merciless to the Kindred who try to play politics with him. Due to his past with the Sabbat, and the killing of a would be Prince, the Kindred of the southwest know him by a different name: "El Cucuí de El Paso".

Rumors

• Desvanecer allegedly went crazy during the last Anarch-Sabbat war, and killed most of Kindred affiliated with either faction.
• Desvanecer allegedly killed the Prince of El Paso because the Prince had his cat killed. He said "Para mi cata". to the Prince before killing him.
