Description

The Capitana's is a graceful and charismatic figure who's charm is but a thin veneer for a cruelty and bloodlust befitting her title. Those who forget her true nature need only to look into her jet black eyes for a reminder of what it means to stare into the abyss. Her true name is unknown, given over to the Abyss when she inherited the title of Capitana Atrox and took command of the Ex Tenebris. She is often seen with a raven by the name of Lenore perched atop her shoulder.

Timeline

• 1901: Born in NYC to immigrant parents.
• 1920:Established herself as a smuggler and rumrunner going between NYC and Chicago
• 1923: Embraced as part of the Sabbat's initiative to strengthen their presence in the East Coast's liquor market and muscle out the Giovanni of Atlantic City.
• 1924: Became true Sabbat after proving herself through participation in the Privateers, catching the attention of the previous Capitana Atrox. She remains an active part in the efforts to disrupt the Giovanni's hold on AC spearheaded by Ductus Romero.
• 1935: Successfully challenges the previous Capitana to Monomacy for the title. The Monomacy occurs in the Abyss, as demanded by the traditions of the ship.
• 1999: Played a key role in the battle of NYC (pending VIP should it be required).
• 2006-2012: Final Civil War. The Capitana took the lack of an appearance from Caine as a sign that the Sabbat had fallen from his grace, so it was therefore her duty to begin the culling as a harbinger of the abyss. Ostensibly fought on the Loyalist side during the Civil War, fighting to restore the Sabbat to its original form, but at points seemed to be engaging in more indiscriminate slaughter under the ethos of "Kill em all, Caine will recognize His own." By the end of the crusade, her body count included members of most of the Sabbat's major factions, including her own.
• 2012: Heeded the Jackal's Call and was present at Palla Grande when the Final Crusade was declared. Her pack was one of the first to pledge to fight by the Regent's side. (ONE Spring)
• 2012-2018: Made good on the pledge to fight beside the Jackal during the Grand Crusade. She was present for the final assault on the Mountain (vip pending) but was not in the room when Haquim died. Lost contact with Inquisitor Valerie Wolf during the crusade, a Tzimisce packmate and shipwright for the Ex Tenebris now presumed dead.
• 2018, Returning from the crusade victorious, the Capitana heeds Romero's call and returns to AC to and takes the opportunity to settle some personal vendettas as well. As the ship is in relatively poor shape after the Crusade and has lost its dedicated shipwright, she chooses to remain docked in AC for some time despite being the Ductus of a primarily nomadic pack.

Rumors

• The Capitana's jet black eyes are a result of an Abyss Mystic or Path of Night initiation ritual of some sort, in which she had her eyes Fleshcrafted out of her head and soaked in the Abyss itself before returning them to their place.
