Once a member of the Cult of Tawaret and the High Priest of the Palace of Veils, it was said Usi could acquire nearly anything through boons or favors to other supernaturals. The Palace of Veils was a melting pot of degenerate supernaturals looking to engage in sin and debauchery. It was likely his ties to these other supernaturals that led to his survival when the Society of Leopold attacked during the year of the Sundering.
Since then, Usi Ba expended a great deal of his resources and political edge to become the new Hierophant of the Court of Fire. He has become aggressively clanist from within the Independent Alliance and violently protective of the clan. He has at least twice led expeditions to retake the Palace of Veils. Both have failed but he remains optimistic that they can reclaim the clan’s holy sites. He resides somewhere in Northern Africa. The Temples in the Court of the Eternal Flame are extremely secretive about where the Regional Temple is located. The memories of the Sundering are still too fresh.
