Further Information
- Embraced - 1888 CE
Claiming to have been Embraced by an Elder Ventrue, Marcie tells everyone the story of how she escaped her sire and the Ivory Tower and fled for the Anarch Movement, only to become disenfranchised by their dogmatic adherence to Libertas and Humanitas. Among the Ministry, she was able to find the feeling of community she had always sought since her Embrace.
One night in Memphis, as the Independent Alliance there was squabbling over who should make decisions, Marcie declared herself Prince much to the shock of the other members of the Sect. However, over time and due to the support of the local citizens, Prince McCoy’s reputation spread. Subsequently, more and more territories adopt her form of governance. She was the first known Prince of the Independent Alliance.
