William Martel is an average sized kindred born of a British father and Egyptian mother. He can often be found in a scholarly suit, but enjoys wearing historical clothing pieces from his homeland. His most notable trait is his unquenchable appetite for new historical, and cultural information. Even beyond his clan weakness William will go out of his way in order to make a new and fascinating discovery.
- 1897-Born
- 1912-Father dies seeking lost treasure in the middle of the desert
- 1915-Mother disappears under unknown circumstances. Will is forced to work as a day laborer to survive
- 1922-Will is picked to be one of many local workers moving and excavating for the Howard Carter Expedition
- 1922-Using texts from his mother's side of the family he correctly finds additional burials near the site catching the eyes of the Banu Haqim shadowing the dig. He is abducted that same day and secreted to Alamut
- 1923-After a year of being a ghoul and showing exceptional progress Will is embraced ahead of schedule by less traditional sire
- 1933-Will is fully accepted as a member of the clan.
- 1999- When the Viziers fled from Alamut Will's Sire ushers him out as well. It is unknow to will if they still lives or not
- 2000's- Through intense effort sets up a small black market antiquities business is brought into the Camerilla. Also meeting Lady Elizabeth Byron around this time.
- 2022-Begain residing in the domain of Pittsburgh
Will was born in Egypt and raised in the presence of the great monuments. His father was a British "adventurer" who traveled the world looking for a lost civilization. He believed it to be in Egypt not in the middle of the Atlantic. To this end he met and began a relationship with Will's mother producing him in the process. Never having enough money for proper schooling Will learned as he could listening to his mother's tales and his father's historical rantings.
In time Will was in the right place at the right time to be noticed by the Banu Haqim and brought into the world of the night. He has decided to make the best of it and hunt down every piece of information he can so long as his unlife shall last.
- It is clear in how he conducts himself that Martel is not simply his last name. A lost Griffon perhaps?
- Much of Dr. Martel's collection is gotten through less than reputable means.
