Anika dresses in what some kings may call rags, for her it is regalia. Stained, tattered, bleached and modded t-shirts, leather, denim, chains, studs, patches and pins. Her hair is long, dark, uncolored and cut for a mohawk, though it is rarely glued and styled into the full hawk these days. It tends to be a bit too matted for that. Usually it is piled high in a series of five buns. She has one pair of leather boots that she always wears, they are long-worn and well cared for, with fading laces- one purple, one blue. Her ears aren't pierced, no body mods to be seen. She's loud! Crass! She's here to kick some ass!
Born in 1953 in Los Angeles. Embraced in 1986 by Eileen Russo, a Ventrue elder and fellow Angeleno. Released in 1988. By her account, she and her sire survived the early aughts through intellect and ferocity alone.
Anika was always a punk rocker, human rights activist & environmentalist. These days she cares about the planet far more than human rights, and threats to her clan above all else. Anika is someone who keeps an ear to the ground, looks for threats and responds to them swiftly. She loves attention- a king like any other, just... a bit less refined.
