Homid: an auburn-haired young woman with a slight limp and microtia of the left ear. Her eyes are yellow and feral. Lupus: a dark wolf, almost black, with red and brown undertones, yellow eyes, one crooked ear, and a twisted rear paw. Crinos: a dark pelt with red and black streaks, unnerving yellow eyes, and a gnarled left foot.
• Born July 29, 1995 • She completed her Rite of Passage at 12, although she had considered herself ready for years before. She was chafing at the bit to become an adult • By 16, she had already earned her rank as Fostern, mostly by memorizing as many rites, occult facts, and bits of obscure lore as she could. • Her former Den Mother taught her to drive and got her first fake ID so she could move around in the human world. • At 22, she challenged for Adren, but she failed. • At 24, she tried again, after befriending and observing geas for many powerful spirits. She has a particular bond with elementals of fire. • She moved to her current venue at 26 (2021).
Jewel Smith was born a metis in the Uktena tribe. She was born in the mountains of southwest Virginia, raised in a small sept that no longer exists; she is one of the only survivors. In spite of the dark reputation of her breed and her tribe, she tries to remain positive and to emphasize cooperation.
