Igor Balakin was the Camarilla Harpy for more than a century under the Princes Archibald Crane and Nikolas Preston-Clark. For many local kindred, he was the only Harpy they had ever known.
Over the years, Igor was a controversial figure with a well-known talent for digging up dirt on his fellow kindred. Some attribute this habit to his being one of the Nosferatu clan.
In early April 2013, Igor disappeared without a trace. This was particularly concerning as Igor was known to be the last sanctioned boonkeeper in the Metro area. While conducting a search for Igor, a group of kindred encountered would-be Hunters in the 8th Street Tunnel.
After being missing for nearly 5 years, the former Harpy reappeared and invitee everyone to a meeting, promising to answer any questions anyone might have. That meeting was interrupted by Hunters, whose goal appeared to be capturing Igor.
It appears that Igor's gossip mongering days finally caught up to him. His current fate remains unknown.
