Treaty of Alliance

Territory All territory owned by any Clan, save for the clan’s decided base of operations, shall be considered shared resources, to house and shelter us all, as the local populace so please.

Masquerade: All Accepted kindred of the Independent Alliance agree to keep the Masquerade for the safety of all. The wolves who reveal themselves will be hunted.

Punishment: A Prince’s rule is absolute. Within their Praxis, only a Prince of the Independent Alliance may call for the Final Death of an Accepted member.

Prestation: All members of the Independent Alliance will honor boons. The Herald shall serve as the keeper of Prestation and will visit justice on those who do not honor their debts. The Herald serves at the pleasure of the Prince. Protection: All Accepted members of the Independent Alliance are expected to come to the aid of one another in times of distress.

Justice: The Marshal is the military commander of the Prince’s Praxis. The Marshal will investigate, deliver justice, and protect the Accepted kindred of the Alliance. They are charged with the destruction of squatters and the protection of any sacred spaces, Spazio Creativo, or Elysiums within the Prince’s Domain. The Marshal serves at the pleasure of the Prince.

Independence: None shall declare allegiance, join in whole or in part, ally with, or take political office within the Camarilla, Sabbat, or Anarch Movement. Personal alliances, boons, and individual agreements are acceptable, however no one shall affect the Independent Alliance or the Clans therein. Aid your clanmates in these Sects under pain of scrutiny.

Religion: There shall be no law made in Alliance territory that shows intolerance or denies the free exercise of all forms of worship, sacrifice, or the determination of a soul.

Elysium: The Custom of Elysium has existed for millennia before the Sects. All Accepted members of the Independent Alliance will respect Elysium. A Prince of the Independent Alliance may declare or remove this reverence from any site within their territory.

Accord: Finally, all Accepted kindred of the Independent Alliance agree to enforce peace and civility between their clans.

Expected Courtesies for Residents of Altoona

Security of the Domain:

All residents are expected to assist in patrolling the domain. Should anything suspicious or of potential threat be discovered, the findings will be reported immediately to the Marshall, and Prince of the Domain. The Marshall will coordinate all patrols with a chosen representative of The Anarch Movement. Those that are Unaligned will report to the Marshall to coordinate efforts. Patrols will be divided fairly amongst all residents when not in a state of heightened security so as not to put an undue burden on those that reside in the Domain. In times of Heightened Security, all residents are expected to patrol in pairs each month until the security level has returned to normal. All those that wish to visit or reside here will be presented to the Prince for permission to do so. Any who are not recognized will be at the mercy of the Marshall who will either bring them to the Prince or be destroyed as the Marshall sees fit.

Progeny:

The Treaty of Alliance makes no claim over the right to create Progeny. All member Clans of the Alliance may Embrace as they see fit, so long as it does not threaten the safety and security of the Domain. Should a potential candidate be contested between Clans, the matter will be brought before the Prince to decide. Members of the Anarch Movement and those that are Unaligned will request permission to Embrace from among the mortal residents of the Domain. They may, of course, do as they wish beyond our borders. All who Embrace will be held accountable for the actions of their Progeny until they are released. Choose whom you sire carefully. If it is found that you have improperly prepared your Progeny for release, you will be held accountable for your failure. Such failures are a danger to the domain and the Alliance.

Anarch Protectorate of Duncansville and Hollidaysburg:

The Anarch Movement is given the areas of Duncansville and Hollidaysburg PA as their Protectorate. These areas are still part of the Domain of the Independent Alliance and those that reside there are will respect the Tenets of the Alliance (Specifically upholding the Masquerade, upholding the Law of Elysium, and the *Authority* of the Prince) and the Courtesies set forth here. They may otherwise conduct business as they see fit. The Anarch Movement will appoint a Liaison to the Prince of Altoona to further strengthen the partnership between them and the Alliance. As stated above, The Anarch Movement will appoint a representative to coordinate efforts with the Marshall of the Domain.
