• Born 1820 into a wealthy family rumored to have connections to the aristocracy through connections to the Catholic Clergy during the French Revolution.

• Education: Private school with a focus on the arts, religion, and business.

• Religion: Roman Catholic

• Vidal followed his father's wishes to join the clergy. During his training he was apprenticed to a traveling priest who happened to be a hunter. It was during this time he was exposed to things the church was hiding. Books of heresy, art work, ceremonial items things collected from cults along with items that were rumored to be of importance to other supernatural beings. He was taught things the church would deem heretical for the age yet his mentor claimed he saw something in the boy that was worth passing on his knowledge along with how to consecrate weapons. When his father found out his son was off gallivanting around the countryside instead of studying with the parish, he was recalled home for re-education. In a last ditch effort to save the families reputation, Vidal was left with his father's business as an art dealer. Despite hoping to settle the boy down and arrange a marriage, Vidal had different plans. He began to collect religious works at first, yet over time he extended his collection to the darker aspects of the religious world with the occult. It was this collecting that caught the eye of his sire. Vidal was attending a private auction house event bidding on a piece of art depicting the fall of angels. He managed to use his wealth to acquire the art piece much to the dismay of his sire who was also present, a member of the Invictus who was planning to use it to pay off a boon owed to the Lancea. Suffice to say Vidal and that piece of art vanished. He was turned into a ghoul to see if he was worthy enough to end up among the elite damned once his sire began to realize how deep the boys ties ran. In 1844 the embrace was granted.

• 1844-1950: Open time of training with the Invictus in France. It was during this time, he was allowed to continue work of using his wealth and the wiles of the Daeva blood to expand his art collection and continue to gather items of heresy.

• 1950 found him suddenly being reassigned overseas to a sleepy sea side city in the middle of a political struggle as the Invictus needed a fresh asset of wealth to be introduced into the area.

• It was sheer luck that Vidal meets up with Zeb. Pace, a Carthian who had a vision for the city looking for others who were willing to back a social experiment. Figuring he had nothing to lose, Vidal agreed to aid. That aid turned into a business partnership when Zeb decided to set up a Non profit organization to buy the Grand Theater. He in turn put Vidal in charge of operations. Not long after, Vidal acquires other properties around the area to showcase his art. As a sign of good faith to other kindred, he extends the offer for others to use shops in the area should they choose to set up business. Dani of the Ordo accepts the offer setting up a small shop to ply her business.

• Joins a Coterie named "The Foundation" whose purpose was urban renewal of the area to help the city regain economic stability after the Flood. As time passed they turned their efforts to other urban projects to enhance the city while behind the curtain kindred politics flourished.
