Triste is half Haitian and half Italian with light caramel skin and hazel eyes. An Italian and southern gentleman from Louisiana he stands around 6ft tall. Just like his suits his accent is Italian.

==<font style="color: #997317; font-family: Garamond;;">Bio</font>== 
Triste’s story started before his birth when his father, an American of Italian descent named Antonio Alphonso Saint John, moved to Louisiana at the end of the Great War to set up a beneficial relationship with the Creole provinces and the Giovanni family up the East Coast of America as well as scholars in Italy. To that end he found himself extremely lucky to have met a Voodoo priestess named Angelique Antoinette Francois. The two fell in love and in that love gave birth to Triste Mietitore St. John. Declared to be an old soul returned in service to the Baron by Mama Louise. Triste’s early childhood was one of love and education. He understood that he was different, and that difference gave him empathy for those going through troubling times. His days were spent with his mother and her family learning about their history while at night he would get to spend time with his father learning what his father was calling the “family trade". A lesson that Mama Louise ingrained in him, “Money don make ya rich boy, its whatcha do for others an family dat makes chu wealthy.”  

1930 saw a depression that was felt across the world. It was then his father and other members of his family had to go to Italy for a reunion of sorts. Many months passed as Triste watched the powerful priestess succumb to an unknown state of madness. Both Triste and Mama Louise did their best to help her but in the end one evening Triste asked his grandmother for some herbs to help his mother sleep. Mama Louise saw the determined boy with bloodshot eyes and nodded. That night Angelique Antoinette Francois slept deeper than she ever had before. All night and day she slept peacefully unmoving under the dutiful eye of her son and as the sun set on the second night like a hurricane Antonio came home to darkness to find his son in the backyard saying prayers in front of freshly piled dirt. Nothing was said between Father and son and soon the familiar smell of Formaldehyde filled the crisp air before heat and light tore the dark and cold night. A chime could be heard across the docks striking midnight on a day that doesn’t exist. At the age of 12 Triste left America for Italy to meet his Family.

The next decade saw the young boy grow to be a man watched over by his Great Uncle Alfonso Giovanni and the leader of his province Signore Rosselini. Learning the ends and outs of the Family business both the operations of the day but more importantly the dealings in the night. During this time, he learned the reality of his father and what he had done to him mother which caused such pain. While his days were spent dealing with contracts and the inner workings of the law at night, he was taught his birthright, Necromancy. Although he never felt the love and joy he felt as a child Triste grew to call this new place home. Until the rise of Mousillini and the unexpected second Great War. During this time, he did all he could to keep things as normal as he could for his new home. Using the law to keep family members out of the war and keeping their property. It was also at this time that Mama Louise lessons began to finally take root and thus a one-man rebellion was born.  A mission to help those whom Mousillini and his allies didn’t care for. Getting them out of Italy and into safer locations, but everything came with a price and the price of getting away was to also disappear thus the burning of homes began because no one cared about a pile of ashes.  It was also at this time he began a relationship with the Signore Rossilini childe. A taboo choice for a mortal and one that needed to be hidden. Luckily his actions throughout this period were looked upon favorably by not only his Great Uncle Alfonso Giovanni but also the Signore. Thus, it was decided after the war his uncle would be given the honor to turn him. Unfortunately, his uncle would never receive the honor for the night of V-E day the two lovers met. Wanting their love to be out in the open and stop hiding the Childe of the Signore offered to turn Triste into her ghoul but remembering his mother and knowing why she succumbed to such madness Triste asked for his love to turn him. That he trusted her and if there was going to be any bond let it be that and with a grin she did. Triste awoke to a feeling not knowing how long he had been asleep. He just remembered being with Her then pain and now he needed to be somewhere. Walking in a daze he found himself in front of the Signore, his Uncle, his Father, and Her. The kindness was gone from her eyes, replaced by something more cunning yet with a hint of sadness. She kept shaking her head as the men talked around Triste. He felt lost as this was his first night undead began with an interrogation. This lasted until the Prince caught his attention and looked deep within him. With a grimace and a snarl, he called him ‘grandson’ and told him that many rules had been broken. Not wanting to kill him nor add more shame to the Family he gave him the price for his immortality. To let ashes give new life and burn away the sins of the past.  He will return to America after learning what is needed to live as undead and work within the shadows for the Family. That he hopes he will be as useful as he was in his first life. A month later he set sail again but this time it was to return to the place of his birth a shell of the man that he once was, heartbroken and dishonored. A tool for the clan and his Family. All seemed lost as his new life began where his old one ended so long ago. The ship docked at a familiar harbor in Louisiana, and he walked a path to a destination that is less memory and more of a dream. With his new abilities he began his search for his mother. For nights he searched using ritual after ritual until he exhausted all he knew. It was then that his grandmother showed up wrapping her spectral arms around him. She told him that for now she will guide him and that it was time for work to be done. This would be the last time he walked away from his childhood home.
